I have long, kinda wavy hair. My fringe is somewhat layered but it just looks like wilted weeds. It's not like it's oily or anything, it just lacks the kind of natural partings, so it looks like a lifeless mass.
I wana try styling it with hair products, but am not sure which one(s) to use. I don't reli knw the difference between the 3 mentioned in my question above and am not sure which one to choose.
I heard the choice depends on hair length and whether u want ur look to be "shiny". I wana opt for one that wld not make my hair sticky or reli hard. Also, I want it to be easily washed away.
PLease advise. Thx
What's the difference between hair wax, gel and clay?
well it doesn't TOTALLY depend. but somewhat
if it does look like a "mass of wilted weeds" then you should start by cutting it.
(hair cut adds or celeb styles come up with some good ones. you should choose someone that has the same face shape as you if you want to copy)
then if its short enough hair spray is nice. most girls don't take too much to the mucky hair gel stuff.
spray is nice cause it does almost the same as the other hair stuffs and is less "in the way"

Gels probably wouldn't be the best. They do add shine unless you brush or comb hair after applying them.
Waxes and pastes help keep the hair in a fixed style; don't put on too much. Put some into your palms, rub together, then apply.
Good ones to try: got2b "defiant" define + shine Pomade; also, Thickening Cream by Catwalk (get this from a stylist).
Hope this helps. Citre Shine also makes some good ones.
