I was about to get my hair dyed; top layer brown, bottom layer platinum blonde.

it would be better dark on the botton light on top like plaitnum blonde on top and dark brown on bottom or back i reaally wouldnt try they other way thats why ur sister sed it was out of stylle so yeah DONT DO LIGHT ON BOTTOM =]] hope i helped

yea it would look a bit tacky. people might judge u in a more professional setting. try high or low lights instead
