i think u shoulkd layer it.....i used to have really long hair that was all one length and it almost killed me!!! I got my hair trimmed to a little below my shoulders...got blond highlights..pink tips...and layered the whole thing and i absolutely love it...i've never been able to do so much with my hair...sorry no pics....but give it a go

You should def. layer it. One of my bffs has really thick hair she tried layering it and it looked awesome. Another cute idea is getting it thinned. It was a lot easier to work with and looked much better. I hope I helped! sry no pics.
