Hair color/cut questions.?

Two questions. . .

1. I'd like to highlight my hair, but isn't this primarily done in the summer season? If so, what is the alternative for the winter season?

2. I have layers already in my hair. But, I remember when I first had them done, the hairdresser cut it with one of the "automatic razors" (you know the ones that they use to cut guy's hair) Ever since then the hairdresser I go to now, does not do that. Has anyone else heard of this? What is the name of it?

Any input would be much appreciated. . .Thanks in advance.

Hair color/cut questions.?

Okay it doesnt matter if you get your highlights in the winter and if anyone tells you other wise they are abolutely crazy if you want your hair to look nice then go for it. And the name is clippers.

Hair color/cut questions.?

no and if you have layers it will look good with highlights

Hair color/cut questions.?

Highlights go with any season, but I decided to go dark with blonde highlights for the first time and it turned out great, so go with what you feel like try something new! Any season is a reason for change

Hair color/cut questions.?

ok.

1. Highlighting can be done anytime of year, in fact it will look and stay better in the winter because its colder and wont dry out your hair.

2. Yes just ask your hairdresser to cut your layers with a razor, not sissors. and you can also do this yourself or with a friend,

--------------------------------------...

1. Get hair wet and towl dry

2. take a razor that you shave your legs with, and pin up the top layers, only leaving the bottom layer.

3. Go through the ends with the razor as if you were trying to shave your legs, BUT DONT PULL DOWN TO HARD. if you do its fine but it might hurt a little

4. Repeat steps 2 %26amp; 3 to the rest of your layers.

--------------------------------------...

This should get you the same texture if you did it right, my mom works in a salon and she does this to me every 2 or 3 months, it looks great

hope this helps!! =]
