I know you probably don't want to hear this, but save your money to buy a more expensive model of straightener.

Would you rather spend 25 bucks, then 30, then 45, et cetra on straighteners?

Wouldn't you rather just buy a GREAT long lasting one that works really well and with lots of features?

Well I have an amazing Cortex flat iron but I don't think they sell them at Wal Mart. But I do know that Wal Mart sells Conair, which is also a very good brand of hair straighteners. Also, before you straighten your hair, spray some protective hairspray on to prevent any damage. As far as hair straightening products go, I trust anything by John Freida. His products are amazing! They cure hair, treat hair, straighten hair etc. They are sold at almost any hair product store.

If you decide to buy anything...here's a trick..:

When you wash your hair,take a brush and after you put shampoo,brush it...than when you wash it comb it again and when you're done washing dry it with a fan ,from a distance of 15cm on top of head and dry only the roots(bcz if you dry the ends they get dry and the roots become oily very soon).While drying comb your hair straightly down and i think you should get results...it worked for me.Good luck

If you want your hair to be really straight and shine and feel silky you should invest in a good quality flat iron because they do make the difference .....Here is a good website to buy from and to research which flat iron you need. They also sell good flat iron sprays that is a heat protector for your hair. You can buy pretty cheap sprays and heat protectors at Walmart but you really need to buy a good flat iron to get the type of look you want and to keep your hair from frying ....
