How can I permanently straighten my hair?

My hair is crazy. Layers look awful because it looks like my layers are pushed far back, and my hair is in the front. Its always flippy on the ends, and my straightener is no help. And I dont want to have to wake up everyday and straighten my hair, and then end up washing it at the end of the day, repeat, repeat. Its too much to bother with. I want straight and simple hair like Miley Cyrus or somebody. Just REGULAR hair that I can do whatever I want with. Ok, so what happens when my hair is short? It sticks out on every end in weird angles. What about when its long? It does the same, except its also wavy, and pointy and it looks really bad. I dont mind wavy or curly hair, but mine is just beside that point. Its not even cute. Ive thinned it too, but nothing is working. Can I permanently straighten it? Please note Im only 12. Thank you. (almost 13)

im not sure but what i do know is you can probably get that done at the salon. When you go there ask them if there is any way you can make it straight permently...i mean if they can make curls last long..why not straight hair?

You could go to a salon and get them to permanently straighten your hair (its a perm without the curlers so it lasts the same amount of time) but this can be really harmful to your hair.

You could also buy permanent straightening kits but I am not sure how well they work....

The best advice I have for you is to try different styles with your hair that do not involve a lot of harmful chemicals (like permanent straightening) and heat (straighteners) Maybe you could use a straightening heat protector while your hair is wet then dry it as straight as possible and go with it. Wavy hair and curly hair can be pretty....maybe spend a day working with it and playing with it. Try different things until you find something you like. If you are still unhappy, then you can try the straightening. Just some advice from some one who has been there and done that. :)

there is no such thing as permanently straight, but you can go to a salon and get something similar to a perm, but instead of curling your hair, they straighten it. There are also drug store versions that last about 3 months.
