i have had layers in my hair for bout a year or so now and they are a bit anoyin now cos my hair dosnt look right so i wont my hair longer and quicker any tips on how please?

Some good tips for faster hair growth:

1. Carrot oil for your scalp. It's really good.

2. Wash AND condition daily. If your hair is too oily it can slow down the growth. That's why it's important to wash daily. However, you also need your oils, so the conditioner acts like a sort of substitute.

3. Limit the heat you apply to your hair. Curling irons, blow dryers, etc. can damage your hair, cause split ends, and potentially slow hair growth. Stay away from it as much as possible. When you do use it, put a good leave-in-conditioner AND oil or moisturizer (Biosilk is really good) before applying heat.

4. Stay away from perms, relaxers, highlights, color, etc. These all damage hair and slow growth.

5. Your diet plays a role!!! Too many sweets or fatty foods can actually stunt hair growth. Eat fruits and veggies (and whole grains, lean protein) for a full head of healthy hair.

.unfortunately there is nothing you can do to make it actually grow faster. You can take vitamins, bt they're just going to make your hair healthier(not a bad thing). Putting vitamins in your shampoo will just make your shampoo smell bad, it wont do anything for your hair. You're just going to have to trim it once every 6 to 8 weeks %26amp; just wait it out.

Washing your hair daily with actually dry it out, %26amp; oil does NOT prevent your hair from growing. You should actually only wash your hair a few times a week.
